Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings and participation in BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing activities.

1. Responsibility of the Hirer

The individual, company or organisation making the booking (“the Hirer”) accepts responsibility for ensuring that all guests, participants and attendees at the event comply with the safety instructions and guidance provided by BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing and its staff.

The Hirer is responsible for the conduct and behaviour of their guests throughout the event.

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual who fails to follow safety instructions, behaves in an unsafe manner, or is deemed to present a risk to themselves or others.

2. Safety & Supervision

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing will provide appropriate safety briefings, equipment and supervision throughout the activity.

All participants must follow instructions given by BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing staff at all times.

Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in a participant being excluded from the activity without a refund.

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing reserves the right to stop an activity immediately where participant behaviour creates a risk to themselves, staff, spectators or other participants.

3. Minimum Age

Participants must be 8 years of age or older to take part in axe throwing activities.

Any participant under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

4. Alcohol & Intoxication

Participants may consume alcohol responsibly before or during the event. However, the safety of all participants remains our highest priority.

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual who appears to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or otherwise unable to participate safely.

Anyone refused participation for these reasons will not be entitled to a refund.

The decision of BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing staff regarding a participant’s suitability to take part is final.

5. Venue & Surface Protection

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing takes reasonable precautions to minimise the risk of damage to grassed areas, flooring, paving, decking and other surfaces where the equipment is installed and operated.

However, axe throwing involves sharp equipment and, despite reasonable care being taken, occasional damage to grass, flooring or surrounding surfaces may occur.

By proceeding with a booking, the Hirer acknowledges and accepts this risk.

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing shall not be held liable for damage to grass, lawns, flooring, decking, paving or other ground surfaces arising from the normal operation of the activity, except where such damage is proven to have resulted directly from negligence on the part of BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing.

6. Weather Conditions

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing operates in a variety of weather conditions and will attend the booked event unless conditions are deemed unsafe by management.

Bookings will not be cancelled, rescheduled or refunded due to rain, wind, cold temperatures or other adverse weather conditions where the activity can still be safely operated.

If BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing determines that weather conditions create an unacceptable safety risk, alternative arrangements may be discussed at management’s discretion.

7. Access & Site Suitability

The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that the venue provides adequate space, access and a suitable location for the safe installation and operation of the axe throwing range.

Any known hazards, access restrictions or site limitations must be disclosed prior to the event.

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing reserves the right to refuse setup if the venue is deemed unsuitable or unsafe.

Where setup cannot proceed due to unsuitable conditions that were not disclosed in advance, no refund shall be provided.

8. Equipment Damage

All equipment provided by BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing remains the property of BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing at all times.

The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that guests treat all equipment with reasonable care and follow all instructions provided by staff.

Any deliberate, reckless or negligent damage caused to axes, targets, safety barriers, gazebos, signage or any other equipment supplied by BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing may result in the Hirer being charged the full cost of repair or replacement.

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing reserves the right to invoice the Hirer for any such costs incurred as a result of damage caused by participants or guests attending the event.

9. Liability

Participation in axe throwing activities is undertaken at the participant’s own risk.

BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing maintains appropriate Public Liability Insurance and will take all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment for participants and spectators.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking with BearPack Mobile Axe Throwing, the Hirer confirms that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

The Hirer also accepts responsibility for ensuring that their guests comply with all safety requirements during the event.

The Hirer acknowledges that axe throwing is an activity involving inherent risks and agrees to participate, and allow guests to participate, on that basis.
